Admiralty / Maritime Law
Our team provides legal services in all areas of contentious and non-contentious “wet” and “dry” maritime / admiralty matters inclusive of contentious civil matters between shipowners, passengers, crew claims and repatriation issues, breach of contract, debt recovery, cargo, collision and ship detention claims. Our non-contentious portfolio includes ship sales, transfers, registration and incident investigations.
Corporate / Commercial Law
We provide representation as it relates to all legal issues which may occur in the operation of a company and commercial transactions. We also negotiate and draft contracts on behalf of businesses and advise on issues which arise in the restructuring of companies or expansions due to investment.
Insurance Law
Insurance Law involves a mixture of common law (case law) and statute (legislation). Our legal services include a wide range of marine, property, motor and general insurance claims while balancing the sensitive issues which invariably arise when a loss occurs.
