On 11 January, 2022, Turkish ships’ agent, Efes Gemi Acenteliği ve Gemi İşletmeciliği Limited Şirketi (“Claimant”), commenced proceedings against the Owners of the Proceeds of Sale of the General Cargo Ship “Throne” (“M/V Throne”) in respect of unpaid agency fees, disbursements, monies advanced and necessaries supplied to the M/V Throne at the request of the vessel’s Owners.
On 18 February, 2022, the Honourable Madam Justice Nadia Kangaloo of the Supreme Court of Trinidad and Tobago awarded Judgment to the Claimant.
