During the month of May 2024, our firm had the privilege of providing expert legal consultancy services related to, inter alia, the cargo operations of CKHL Shipping and Logistics Inc in Guyana (“CKHL”). Our team delved into a range of critical issues that commonly arise in cargo operations, offering insight and guidance into statutory requirements and thresholds, as well as procedural matters which obtain “on the ground”.

In the complex world of global shipping and cargo operations, various legal matters can pose significant challenges to carriers, brokers, shippers and consignees. Our team advised on matters of customs compliance, administrative requirements and procedures, legal disputes between carriers, shippers and consignes and cargo issues arising from transportation, storage, clearance and contractual breaches.

Our team was happy to collaborate with the interests involved, and to support the operations of CKHL.

Asif Hosein-Shah led the advisory team on these matters.
