Asif’s piece, intituled, “The Admiralty Jurisdiction: Is the Forum Almost Always Convenient?” provides an overview of the Court’s in rem admiralty jurisdiction in Trinidad and Tobago, examining the issues of forum and the hearing and determining of admiralty claims notwithstanding multi-jurisdictional issues which arise in the global transportation industry.
